Jamie completed his undergraduate degree at Indiana University - Bloomington, clerked at Chilcote & Kibbe, P. C. while in law school and joined the firm as an associate upon being graduated from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 1998. Jamie also clerked for the Monroe County Public Defender's office while in law school getting practical experience in criminal law. He became a partner in the firm in 2006.

His areas of practice include small business representation, real estate, leases, transfers and purchases, elder law, estate planning, wills, trusts, estate, administration, guardianships, domestic and family law, handling divorces, child custody and parenting time, child support, property issues and modifications.
